General Information
The 3rd. National Congress of Students of Graduate Degree in Economics, organized by the Instituto de Economia de la Universidad Nacional del Sur, will take place in Bahía Blanca, Argentina, on 23 -24 May, 2007. Students enrolled in graduate degree programs in any branch of Economics in Argentinean and foreign universities, as well as of those ones that have concluded their graduate degree between May 2006 and May 2007, may take part in the event. (see Formal Aspects) The objectives of this congress are contributing to the diffusion of research results, as well as encouraging the profitable exchange of ideas and fomenting the construction of bonds between members of the new generation of economists.

The papers to be presented in the Congress should belong to any area of economic knowledge. The Academic Committee will accept works that credit enough merits in what concerns to their quality and originality. The best works will be rewarded with the Prize Estudios Economicos consisting in the publication of the papers in the homonymous journal of the Departamento de Economia de la Universidad nacional del Sur.

During the Congress, Conference sessions will be held, in charge of notorious Argentinean researchers specially invited.
